Braintree district: Awards for village magazines
Village magazines have won awards in a county-wide competition.
The Rural Community Council of Essex judged 62 for its Essex Life Community Magazine Awards.
Interface – the magazine for Felsted, Flitch Green and Little Dunmow - won third prize in the Best Community Magazine category.
And Window on Silver End was named best new entrant.
All the magazines are produced by volunteers.
