Residents at a care home in Stisted got creative during a cookery workshop in honour of National Pizza Day.
RMBI Home Prince Edward Duke of Kent Court, in Kings Lane, Stisted, held the special event where those at the home learnt about the origins of the popular Italian dish, discussed the variations and told the stories of when they first ever ate one.
Hilda Dalley said: "I remember travelling to Italy with my husband in the 1930s for a holiday. We drove in our car, stopping at numerous places en route."
Hungry residents also made their own pizza for dinner, picking their favourite toppings.
Audrey Brown, activities co-ordinator, said: "Events like these help our residents socialise and reminisce.
"It is lovely to listen to all the stories of holidays and different cultures experienced by our residents during their lives.
"Everyone had an enjoyable evening, finishing it off by having our home made pizza for dinner."
