A gift shop in Braintree is hosting a themed cake sale to raise money for mental health charity Mind.
Velvet Sunrise, in New Street, is inviting shoppers down the rabbit hole during the event, which is based around Lewis Carroll classic Alice in Wonderland.
Shana Boreham spent almost 24 hours baking almost all of the cakes herself.
She said: "Three years ago my brother decided to shave his head for Mind and ever since then we have been trying to raise money for them.
"We have a pot on the counter and we have taken part in sponsored walks.
"Someone stole the pot earlier this year so we did a cake sale after that to raise the money again. We thought we would do another themed one.
"My dad recently had a tattoo sleeve of Alice in Wonderland so I suggested we do that."
So far the shop has collected a total of £1,400 for Mind and the duo want to make that figure up to £2,000 by the end of the weekend.
There will be jam tarts, gluten free treats and all manner of other cakes.
All of the proceeds will go to Mind.
The cake sale is taking place until Sunday, December 10.
