A car technician has been thanked for his hard work after 25 years of service at a car dealership in Braintree.
DIY and motorsport enthusiast, Chris Voss, 41, celebrated his 25th year as a car and light commercial technician at Quest, in Rayne Road.
First taking his position as an apprentice when he was just 16, Mr Voss has seen numerous changes in the motoring industry.
He said: "It seems like only yesterday I first stepped foot onto the forecourt as a fresh-faced teen having just left school, and now I’ve been here for a quarter of a century.
"One of the toughest jobs I have ever completed was when I had just started my apprenticeship and we had to replace an entire Astra body shell that had been severely damaged.
"I really love the challenge of fixing a car to the best possible standard and exceeding customers’ expectations. It’s a great feeling, and I’m absolutely over the moon to be celebrating my 25th year here."
To celebrate his outstanding level of service, Martin Gozzett, managing director of sales, rewarded Mr Voss with a £250 Red Letter Day voucher.
