A recruitment agency has organised a 113 mile bike ride for charity.
The team at Prime Appointments, in Newland Street, Witham, will be put to the test today as they take on a virtual route covering their client base around Essex for Children In Need.
Over the course of the day recruiters will take turns on the company bicycle of roughly 15 minutes each.
The virtual route will start at the company’s base in Witham, go through Chelmsford, Dunmow, Braintree and Halstead, then through Earls Colne, Sudbury, Hadleigh, Manningtree and Colchester, before winding back through Tiptree, Maldon and Hatfield Peverel, to Witham again.
In addition to the cycle, the company will also host an informal bake off and a dress down day in an effort to beat last year's total of £370, with managing director Robyn Holmes doubling however much the team raise.
To buy a slice of cake pop into the office or sponsor the recruiters by calling 01376 502999.
