A man who was involved in a crash has died two months after the tragic incident, which killed his wife instantly.
Gary Keith Vincent, 51, of Braintree, and his wife Joanne Vincent, 47, were riding a black Honda motorcycle in Ashes Road, Cressing on August 14.
They were involved in a crash with a white Ford Transit van. A white Mercedes Sprinter van was also involved.
Mrs Vincent died at the scene and her husband was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, where he was later transferred to Broomfield Hospital where died on October 5.
An inquest in to his death will be opened in due course.
A 70-year-old man remains under investigation on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
A 44-year-old man also arrested was released without charge and faces no further action.
