Emergency services called as man in his 80s collapses
A man in his 80s collapsed whilst walking along a road in Braintree.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust were sent Rayne Road at 1.42pm this afternoon.
A community first responder was on scene at 2.21pm, followed by a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance crew.
The patient was taken to Broomfield Hospital for further care.
One eyewitness said she saw a woman looking after the gentleman from when he collapsed until the ambulance service arrived.
