Thousands of foodies flocked to Coggeshall for the return of a popular food festival.

Coggeshall Food Festival, now in its second year, took place over the weekend amongst the stunning grounds of West Street Vineyard.

More than 5,000 attended across the weekend, with funds from ticket sales being split between Colchester Hospitals Charity and Coggeshall’s Big Park Project.

Trisha Whitehouse, organiser of the festival, said: “People come along because we have kept the entrance fee very low to allow people to spend more at the producers stalls. We are also exclusively East Anglian.

“We were so lucky with the weather and it stayed dry on Sunday. It was very busy and everybody seemed to have a good time.

“The traders had a great time as well, we are a fairly small festival as food and drink festivals go, but they were surprised but how good it was.”
