A TEACHER has been charged with drink-driving after allegedly being caught more than four times the legal limit.
Michelle Pearson, 44, of Chapel Street, Rowhedge. was arrested in Newland Street, Witham, yesterday at 10.55am.
She was later charged with drink driving after allegedly failing a breath test.
The test appeared to show she had 183 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
She will appear at Colchester Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, September 5.
