A HOUSING association has been named as one of the best landlords in the country by an expert publication.
Greenfields Community Housing was named number 13 in the 50 top landlords in the country by 24 housing magazine.
The organisations that made the list were all nominated, voted on and judged by other housing associations and industry representatives.
Last year Greenfields received a 93 percent satisfaction rating amongst residents and oversaw a 31.3 percent reduction in home repairs needed.
The company also secured at additional £65million to build 850 homes for rent, shared ownership and sale by 2020.
Greenfields partnership with Essex Police, Think Safe, Be Safe, was also key to improving its approval rating.
Phil Adams, Greenfields’ chief executive, said: “Our main aim is to improve lives – be it the lives of our residents, staff, or people living in our communities.
"It’s great that others can see what we’re achieving, and I want to ensure our hard work – in collaboration with residents and other organisations – continues and improves even more.”
