YOUNG footballers at a primary school have been given the chance to hone their skills with brand new footballs.

Pupils at Elm Hall Primary School in Witham were given the footballs by Football Fun Days manager Daniel Mather.

He runs football camps during the half-term, and was invited to present the balls during one of the school assemblies.

He said: "It's fantastic to be able to give something back to the local community and to the children.

"I make many donations every year but felt Elm Hall was a great choice as many kids come to the Witham camp, and it's right next to the location where we hold the fun days.

"Thank you to the school for inviting me."
