AFTER the success of a previous sell out show, a top tribute band are returning to rock the Braintree Arts Theatre.

Supreme Queen have been paying homage to the world’s most theatrical and extravagant rock band for more than twenty years and in doing so have conquered venues all over the UK, Europe and Asia.

Now they’re returning to Braintree to play two massive shows at the theatre, on Notley Road, on two consecutive nights.

Frontman Scott Maley, is known for his natural likeness to the late great Freddie Mercury and he brings the right stage persona and natural charisma with him too.

Most importantly he has a fantastic voice which means he can blast through all your favourite Queen tracks with ease.

And there is no lack of classic tracks to choose from either, with a back catalogue that is one of the most beloved in music history.

We Will Rock You, Under Pressure, Killer Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody, the list goes on and on.

Maley is backed by an enormously talented band including guitar virtuoso Nathan Mathers, who plays a very convincing guitar hero Brian May.

The band have been praised for their attention to detail and they even use the exact same equipment that the classic rockers used during some of their iconic live performances.

Together they create as authentic a live experience as possible, and are probably the closest to the real thing possible.

Supreme Queen have received praise from Radio 2 DJs and music critics all over the country and are now regarded as probably the number one Queen tribute band in the world.

They were honoured to headline the 2000 International Queen Convention, playing to 10,000 people on the beach at St Tropez.

To have them return to rock Braintree is quite a coup and the theatre will be hoping that the upcoming gigs are just as successful as the previous show last year.

The shows take place next Friday and Saturday from 8pm at the Braintree Arts Theatre, Notley Road.

Tickets cost £19 and can be bought from: www.braintreeartstheatre.com.
