TRAIN services have been disrupted after an emergency incident at Chelmsford Train Station.
Passengers at Chelmsford Train Station were asked to leave at about 1.40pm.
It is thought services have been called to a fatality on the line.
Services between London Liverpool Street and Clacton-on-Sea, Colchester Town, Braintree, Norwich, Ipswich and Southend Victoria are affected.
Emergency services have now dealt with the incident between Shenfield and Colchester, allowing all lines to reopen.
Journeys between the stations may still be delayed by up to 40 minutes, as services return to normal.
Trains between London Liverpool Street and Southend Victoria are also being affected, due to driver and stock displacement.
As a result of this, trains on this route may be delayed by up to 30 minutes.
This is expected to continue until about 5.30pm.
