Information session to be held at library to find dementia volunteers
A LIBRARY is offering customers a real chance to help those with Dementia.
As part of Essex Dementia Day on Friday, Braintree Library is giving people a chance to learn more about becoming a Dementia Friend at an informal information session.
The session will be run by a Dementia Friend Champion who has been trained as a volunteer and wants to inspire others to get involved and help those living with the condition.
Residents can pre book a session prior to the event, or just drop in on the day.
Sessions take place at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2pm and all last one hour.
