RESIDENTS had an insight into plans to build 60 more homes in Silver End.

M Scott Properties in Colchester held a public consultation over a site east of Boars Tye Road.

Residents were concerned the village already had enough sites put forward in the Local Plan, and thought there would not be enough school or surgery places to accommodate.

The exhibition was held on Monday, June 27 at Silver End Village Hall.

Richard Martin, land manager at M Scott Properties, said the homes would be in a range of sizes and any impact they would have on infrastructure and facilities would be addressed.

The property developer showed residents site plans, which can be viewed at www.silverend.mscott.co.uk until July 12.
