A MINUTE'S silence will be held in honour of murdered Labour MP Jo Cox at Braintree District Council's Local Plan meeting tonight.
The Union Jack flag at Braintree District Council's offices has been lowered to half-mast since Friday, following other government buildings around the country.
Jo Cox, 41, was shot in Birstall, in her constituency of Batley and Spen on June 16.
Thomas Mair, 52, has been charged with murder, grievous bodily harm, possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence and possession of an offensive weapon.
