New councillors announced after local election
VOTES for one town councillor seat and one district councillor seat have been counted.
The small local election came after multiple resignations and requests that the resultant vacancies be filled.
Lorne Campbell, Conservative candidate, has been elected as town councillor for Witham south ward.
Gavin Maclure, Conservative candidate, has been elected as district councillor for Witham south ward.
Results for Essex Police and Crime Commissioner are expected this afternoon, Friday, March 6, after an 18.55% turnout for Braintree.
