A LOLLIPOP lady was hit by a 4x4 during a school run this morning.
The ambulance service was called to Grooms Lane off of Western Road in Silver End.
She was not sent to hospital and was seen walking away from the scene with residents.
A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance service said: "We got a call at 8.49am this morning following a report of a collision between a 4x4 and a crossing patrol officer.
"We sent a rapid response vehicle and assessed her at the scene but she was not sent to hospital and the ambulance service left at 9.45am."
