An award winning theatre club is putting on its latest pantomime.

Bocking Theatre Club will perform Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Bocking Village Hall in Church Street next month.

The cast, made up of all ages from five to late 70s, will tell the story of Snow White, who is taken in by seven delightful dwarfs after she avoids the clutches of the hapless Bogwort and Stinkwort, sent to kill her by her evil stepmother Queen Caligula.

But will Snow White get to marry her beloved Prince Frederick, or will the wicked queen win?

It will be up to royal housekeeper Dame Dolly Dumpling and her son, Danny Dumpling, along with their adorable dog Fang, to save the day.

The plot has all that you could wish for – love, tense moments and an evil stepmother.

Bocking Theatre Club has been entertaining audiences for more than 30 years and the pantomime follows on from their sell-out Bocking Variety Spectacular which raised more than £7,000 for Children in Need. Sam Conway, of the theatre group, said the funny and warm-hearted pantomime would be a “fun for all”

family show.

With full cast dance routines, brilliant songs and side splitting comic acting, this is the panto to see this season.

Tickets are £6.50 each, £5.50 for concessions or £20 for a family ticket and can be bought from Pasha Café in Leather Lane, New Image Hairdressing in Church Street or Sconch Yarn Shop in Springwood Drive.

Alternatively, they can be booked by calling 01376 320948.

The show will take place every night at 7.30pm from Wednesday, February 17 to Saturday, February 20, with doors opening at 7pm.

There will also be a matinee performance at 2pm on Saturday, February 20, with doors opening at 1.30pm.
