Police tape off house after domestic incident in Braintree High Street
A WOMAN was assaulted at a house in Braintree High Street this morning.
At about 8.55am police were called to the house with reports of a domestic incident.
A spokesperson for Essex Police said: "Police were contacted with reports a woman had been assaulted at an address in High Street, Braintree.
"She suffered an arm injury.
"A 48-year-old man from Braintree was arrested in Panfield Lane in connection with the incident and is currently in custody awaiting questioning."
