POLICE have renewed their appeal to find two youths suspected of throwing a rock from a bridge on the A12.
The incident nearly killed a mum and her daughter when the item cracked their windscreen as they drove their Proton Savvy towards Silver End from Colchester on April 10.
The boys are described as being aged about 13 or 14. The first had blond layered shoulder-length hair and was wearing a grey sweatshirt with a white T-shirt underneath and blue jeans.
The second boy had dark hair and was wearing a red jumper.
An Essex Police spokesman said: “Despite extensive enquiries and appeals made via the media, no information was forthcoming in relation to this incident.
“If anybody does have any information we would urge them to contact Essex Police on 101."
The spokesman added: “Essex Police does take incidents like this extremely seriously and would urge anybody who notices any suspicious behaviour on bridges over the county’s road to contact us immediately.”
