Woman turns her cancer battle into force for good
A coffee morning in Witham organised by a young woman battling ovarian cancer has raised more than £600 for charity.
Elle Robertson, 20, of Tolleshunt D’Arcy, organised a Macmillan coffee morning with her friend Billie-Jo Nash, 25, of Millbridge Road in Witham.
The pair became friends three years ago while working at Latneys Boarding Kennels and Cattery in Witham.
In June, having suffered from “unbearable” pain, sickness and tiredness for years, Miss Robertson was finally diagnosed after seeing a locum GP.
