Burglars cause damage worth £3,500 at a learning centre
BURGLARS stole cash from vending machines and caused damage worth £3,500 at a learning centre.
The thieves broke in to the Adult Community Learning Centre in Spinks Lane, Witham, between 10.20pm and 10.40pm on September 13.
They damaged three machines and stole about £40 from two of them.
Further damage was caused to a fire door and another window.
