Two break-ins and a fight involving weapons have left Witham business owners clamouring for an increased police presence in a town they claim is "no longer safe".
Yobs are thought to have used a brick to smash into Shots Snooker, in Collingwood Road, before ripping the till from the wall on August 12.
Ten days later, Sir Charles Lockram’s Drinks Parlour, in Lockram Lane, had its front door smashed by burglars and the till emptied on the floor in the early hours.
