A Braintree woman almost killed by her own sister in a glassing attack begged a judge: "Please don't send her to jail."
Kirsty Lisney, 26, was left scarred for life when teenage sister Jodie, of Jeffreys Road in Cressing, thrust a beer glass in her face on a caravan holiday.
Mum-of-one Kirsty needed plastic surgery for the deep wound to the left side of her face.
But a court heard she has forgiven Lisney, 19, and there is still a strong sisterly bond between them.
The judge said the attack deserved a jail sentence, but let Lisney off because of her sister's mercy plea.
