A teenage girl who has spent eight years as a member of the Scouts has been awarded for her outstanding effort in helping others.
Becca Nutt, 14, a pupil at Notley High School, joined the Scout movement as a beaver aged just six after following in her brother’s footsteps and since then has devoted hours of her time raising money and looking out for other people.
