A man has set up an online donation page to raise £800 to replace cameras stolen from an amateur photographer.
Kevin Robson, 59, set up the gofundme.com page to help burglary victim Brian Wilmer, 70, of Witham.
The self-employed gardener’s pair of Panasonic Lumix cameras, worth £400 each, were taken overnight on April 25.
Thieves reached through the catflap to unlock the door of Mr Wilmer’s home.
Mr Wilmer, who is a member of Witham’s horticultural society, this week told the Times the burglary had left him shaken.
