A Great Notley singer who has performed at the O2 is supporting a national charity campaign.

Jessica Alice, 23, of Bedells Avenue, has donated a pair of designer shoes to British Heart Foundation’s Heels for Hearts Campaign.

Launched in connection with ITV’s Good Morning Britain, people are being asked to donate a pair of shoes to the charity.

Money made from the sale of the shoes will go towards funding CPR training kits in secondary schools and sixth form colleges across the UK.

Jessica popped in to the charity’s shop in Great Square, Braintree, on Thursday and gave a pair of black Red or Dead high heels.

The shop welcomes donations of any type of shoe - including men’s, children’s and sports’ shoes - but they must be in a wearable condition.

Singer-songwriter Jessica has been singing from an early age.

Last year she performed at six venues, including The Borderline in London and the 02 arenas in London, Bristol, Birmingham, Newcastle and Glasgow, as the lead supporter of X Factor boyband Kingsland Road.
