A man believed to be in his 60s has been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash.
The incident happed at around 8.10am in Coggeshall Road near Bradwell and involved a silver Peugeot 206 and a silver Volkswagen Polo.
An East of England Ambulance spokesman said: "The man was taken to Colchester General Hospital with injuries to his wrist and leg.
"A car was on the scene a minute later as it was passing by."
