The Cats Protection League and the RSPCA have teamed up to offer cat owners the chance to get their pets neutered and microchipped for £10.
Cats need to be presented to Vets4Pets within Pets at Home, Braintree Retail Park, Charter Way, from 3pm to 6pm on Thursday.
Appointments are not necessary.
Getting your pet neutered is important to stop the number of unwanted cats and kittens and help reduce unwanted behaviour in tom cats.
Your cat will be chipped and you will be issued with a Cats Protection neutering voucher and you can book him/her in for the operation at the same time.
Please call the Colne Valley Branch of Cats Protection on 0845 260 1384 or email catsprotectionneutering@aol.com if you require further details.
