A seriously-ill mum who survived a life-threatening pregnancy has proven she can still achieve her dreams by releasing her first single.

Natasha Corrigan, 21, of Laurence Avenue, Witham, is battling debilitating Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) but will not let it hold her back on her ambitions of being a professional singer songwriter.

After coming second in this years Factor Essex competition, she was signed by management company Bad Influence Productions and starred in her own music video two weeks ago.

She is preparing to release her first single, a cover of O-Town’s hit All or Nothing, in November.

The former Rickstones School pupil’s condition means she has joint problems, intestinal failure, a bladder three times bigger than normal, bruises and dislocates her knees easily and suffers with skin tears.
