Friends, colleagues and family raised more than £1,000 for a Braintree Council worker who was left seriously injured following a horror smash.
Tara McIntyre, 23, of Panfield Lane, Braintree, is now recovering after the black Ford Ka she was driving was in collision with a black Mercedes convertible in High Garrett in February.
Miss McIntyre, who was left in a coma after the crash, was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, but has since been moved to a rehabilitation centre in Norwich, where she has been making slow and steady progress.
She moved back home to Braintree to be with her family last week.
