Get creative at summer workshops over the summer.

Action packed, fun-filled activities are being organised for several dates throughout July and August, giving children the opportunity to use their imaginations and take part in interesting crafts.

The sessions run last year and were very popular with the youngsters who took part in activities such as creating solar system mobiles, making Viking long boats and icing volcano cupcakes.

This year, the themes are animals, the weather, science and history.

The sessions will take place at the 3rd Witham Scout and Guide hut, behind Spring Lodge on Powers Hall End, Witham between 10am-noon and 1pm and 3pm.

Each session costs £8, or children can stay for the whole day for £15, and will need to take a packed lunch. There are discounts available for multiple days and for siblings.

The activities are aimed at children aged between six and 12 and take place on July 22, 24 and Tuesday 29.
