Architect George Clarke will be filming The Restoration Man in Great Braxted.

The Channel Four programme will feature the Old School House, formally a school built in 1842 by Captain Charles Du Cane, a great philanthropist and imperialist, who was the third governor of Tasmania.

Producers are looking for historical information about the building and would like to speak to anyone with memories of the property and the local area.

They are also keen to hear from anyone who had relatives who attended the school, which was for the children of workers at the nearby Braxted Park estate.
