Fire in roof of thatched cottage

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a cottage fire in Colchester.
Four crews were called to put out the blaze on Cage Lane, in Boxted, after the alarm was raised at 5.10pm on Saturday.
The fire is thought to have started in the chimney before spreading to the thatched roof.
It was put out at 7.30pm.
No one is thought to have been injured.
