U's surprise for stab victim Charlie

TEENAGER Charlie Provan who is on the road to recovery after he was stabbed got a welcome surprise from one of his heroes.

Say what you like about Kemmy but this chap always goes out of his way to visit children and hospitals. Great ambassador for the club.

Too right. And a good player as well. Pity he doesn't score goals any more, but he is always good value.

From what I have gleaned from Facebook pages like "Secret Mersea Island" the Police have yet to find out who stabbed Charlie. Is this just another example of the grossly inadequate policing on Mersea Island?

Mersea is a tiny place where reclusive and insular people go to hide from the world... a muddy outcrop full of gossip and innuendo where anybody who isn't as strange as they are can be targeted and even harassed off the island. Wicker Man territory!

What would have been more useful may have been some kind of fund which set up a cash reward for information to catch whoever stuck a blade into poor Charlie. Then the gossip which is rife on this god forsaken place might have produced a "RESULT"!

facebook - obviously a reputable source of information which is in no way biased or represents the views of certain stupid individuals - sounds like the ideal community for you szandor - best stay away from the "godforsaken" place in case you end up inside a large wooden effigy - interesingly i havent managed to find the wicker man despite 33 years of residence on mud island - but perhaps its because ive been to busy being reclusive insular and hiding from the world.......... :)
