Presumably *Fire* "Crews" but surely not from Tillingham about 35-40 miles away or Burnham about 30 miles away.

There are Fire Crews stationed in Tollesbury about 1/2 mile away from Eleysian Gardens, Tiptree about 6 miles away and Maldon about 7 miles away and several others nearer than either Tillingham or Burnham.

The report is almost certainly wrong, I hope the bloke recovers.

Ah.. good the report has been promptly corrected.

It is amazing that someone writing for Essex County Standard would have such a poor awareness of the catchment area, to just type Tillingham and Burnham without checking first.

They corrected it promptly, you should be praising them instead of carrying on moaning.
This paper has come a long way from the days when it used to refer to the river Colne as flowing from Chelmsford to Colchester.
Three cheers for the Gazette.
