A NEW charitable trust has been set up in Wivenhoe.
Educational Aid for the Children of South Africa (EACHSA) wants to collect and send books to children who have none to help them learn to read.
A shipment of books has already been donated but the trust now needs to raise £1,200 to cover the costs of sending it and to continue sending them.
The trust hopes to now establish itself across the country and encourage people to become trust members at a cost of £10 a year.
