Two dead Royal Anglian soldiers named

TWO soldiers from the Royal Anglian Regiment killed in an explosion in southern Afghanistan have been named.

Lance Corporal Scott Hardy and Private James Grigg from the unit’s 1st Battalion, which recruits locally, were killed in a blast north of Musa Qala on Tuesday.

L/Cpl Hardy was 26 and from Chelmsford and Pte Grigg was 21 and from Hartismere in Suffolk.

Commanding officer Lieutenant Colonel James Woodham said: "It is a grim day in the Battalion's life when we mourn the loss of two of our fine young men."
