UFOs spotted in skies over Colchester

1:09pm Wednesday 10th February 2010 in Local News

A NUMBER of residents have reported spotted mysterious objects in the skies over Colchester.

Greenstead and Tiptree have been particular hotspots with several reports of a large orange orb floating overhead.

Others have seen several orange lights, which they are adamant were not Chinese Lanterns often mistaken for UFOs, in the skies above Tiptree.

Maybe it's the promised £130 million Schools Regeneration money that hasn't quite reached earth yet! Oh! sorry I forgot, that was always going to be PIE IN THE SKY.
Should we take another look? I see it's orange coloured, maybe it's just a £130 million huge carrot. Never mind it will soon decompose and become what I suspected all along------ MANURE

Taking into account where these orange lights were spotted I think the council have finally fixed their orange street lights and the locals haven't worked it out yet....!!

I was walking across Highwoods country park to my abode this evening (with me reduced spuds) and did notice an orange glow on the horizon.

No one has any video footage or pictures?
Btw we are letting off a few chinese lanterns on tuesday night, so dont go mistaking them for ufo's.
