A COURT has heard of the frantic hours spent searching for a murdered teenager.
Fifteen-year-old Liberty Templeman went missing on November 1, 2008.
Her semi-naked body, which had been beaten repeatedly, was found face down in a stream in the northern town of Kerikeri, New Zealand, the following day.
The High Court in Whangerai, where a 16-year-old boy is standing trial for sexually assaulting and murdering the former Colne Community School pupil, today heard from her grieving mother Rebecca.
The boy, who was just 14 at the time, denies the charges.
The trial continues.
