COMEDIAN and TV presenter Griff Rhys Jones will a guest speaker at this year’s Colchester Oyster Feast.
The It'll Be Alright on the Night host is one of the special guests who will at the annual traditional event on October 30.
He will be joined by University of Essex professor Pamela Cox, who has appeared on BBC’s Shopgirls: The True Story of Life Behind the Counter and Servants: The True Story of Life Below Stairs, and writer and photographer Charles Rangeley-Wilson, who has been on BBC’s Fish! – A Japanese Obsession.
Colchester residents can enter the ballot for tickets for the event by emailing mayor@colchester.go.uk or in writing to the Mayor’s Office at Colchester Town Hall by 4pm on Friday.
