A CHARITY supporting people with personality disorders, which was almost forced to close earlier this year, has shown off its new home to supporters.
The Haven Project was battling for survival after losing its Government funding, but was saved by grants from the Big Lottery and Essex County Council.
In May, it moved in to St Peter’s Court, in St Peter’s Street, Colchester.
Yesterday, staff and volunteers invited charities, politicians, councils and other organisations in for an open day.
Pernille Petersen, project manager, said: “It was a very good day.
“People wanted to know where we are at and howwe’re doing.
“They were really impressed. They really loved the client area and the capacity.”
