A TEENAGER has been named the best St John Ambulance cadet in the East of England.
Amy Cook, 16, competed against other young volunteers for the title in Manchester.
The two-day competition tested her first aid, communication and team work skills.
The Philip Morant School pupil, who lives in Toga Close, Colchester, said: “I’m still in shock to have won."
