The visual impression of the planned new Tesco off Butt Road, Colchester, looks very smart.
But, be warned. If the example of the Tesco Express in Crouch Street is anything to go by, the fascia will be allowed to fall into dilapidation, to the detriment of the local area.
Clearly “every little” does not always help.
