Thief stole our chicken meal

On January 28, we went into the butcher’s in Pier Avenue, Clacton, and spent £9.96 on chicken supreme.

From there, we went into the 99p shop.

I was in my wheelchair and, while I leaned over to get something from the shelf, someone stole the bag of chicken, which was by my side.

I just hope the person enjoyed the chicken as much as we two pensioners would have, and their need was greater than ours.
