ONE of Essex's top hotels has reopened following a six-month £1.5 million renovation project.
Maison Talbooth, in Dedham, has added three bedrooms to the top floor, an outdoor swimming pool, beauty treatment rooms and hard tennis court to the hotel.
"Our aspirations for Maison Talbooth's future are clearly shaped by the hotel's solid success, and the strong reputation it's carved out, since 1969," said Paul Milsom, managing director of Milsom Hotels and Restaurants.
The group includes the famous Le Talbooth restaurant and Milsom's bistro-restaurant.
"As we head towards its 40th anniversary next year, the Maison's ambitious renovation programme will ensure that its achievements to date are capitalised upon," he added.
Milsom Hotels has also recently added Kesgrave Hall, in Ipswich, to its hotel portfolio.
