Training message from award winner
"TRAINING is key", was the message from one Dedham worker who has picked up an industry award.
Sean Johnson, finance director at Colchester Toyota, was named winner of this year's business management category in the national Motor Trader Awards.
He was presented with his award by comedian Ronnie Corbett.
Mr Johnson, was is coming to the end of an MBA course at Warwick University, explained it was all down to training.
"Training is key to this company's growth and at Colchester Toyota, we regularly fund training schemes both internal and externally, encouraging staff to continue to learn and improve both personally and technically.
"We are fortunate to be able to offer staff such good opportunities."
The Motor Trader Awards recognise the contribution made by dealership accountants, to effective management and improving performance.
Judges said Mr Johnson had shown himself to be a "first class motor trade accountant and a talented business management specialist within the motor trade."
