School expansion recommended for approval

EXPANSION plans for a north Colchester school have been recommended for approval.

Queen Boudica Primary School, in Cowper Crescent, Myland hopes to take on an additional 15 children each year if proposals for a new classroom block get the green light.

Councillors at Essex County Council are due to decide on the application, which would increase the school’s overall size by 90 pupils, on Friday during a meeting of the development and regulation committee.

Planning officers have recommended the plans are approved.
