A seaside resort is to take centre stage in a blockbuster movie to be screened at cinemas nationwide next week.
Starter for Ten was filmed at Jaywick in October last year and will be shown at cinemas from November 10.
Film crews brought Broadway to a standstill during filming as classic cars of the 80s were brought in and the Never Say Die pub and Eldorado arcade were decorated with Christmas lights.
The pub was open to the public during the night-time shoot and a number of residents were used as extras.
